In this year’s meeting, Plethora IIoT exchanged views with enterprises such as Xilinx, SAP, Huawei, FujiFilm, ARTC, ABB, Dell, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Samsung, GlobalSign and Microsoft, reflecting on industrial applications for predictive maintenance, industrial analytics and machine learning, amongst other subjects.

During the first working day, the meeting reviewed the current state of the Consortium, presenting recent advances. The second day was dedicated to the presentation of approved and pre-approved testbeds, looking at their given states as well. This point led to various working sessions that were developed more fully over the following two days.

The IIC meetings always provide an opportunity to break into smaller working groups, where Plethora IIoT is able to share and discuss strategies and alliances with various global enterprises. These encounters enable Plethora IIoT to take full advantage of previous work done remotely, moving forward with it in direct contact with IIC participants.

The Q3 meeting of the Industrial Internet Consortium will be held in September, 2017, in Singapore.
